Lee Valley Toolmaker’s Vise

For guitarmakers, modellers and hobbyists, this is an excellent vise for working with small parts.

Milled flat on the sides and base, it can be held squarely in a bench vise or clamped to a machine table, positioned either horizontally or vertically.

The 1 1/2″ wide jaws are also milled to hold work squarely, with V-notches in one jaw face for a secure hold on round stock.

The jaw faces can be removed and replaced with custom jaw liners to hold irregular shapes (mounting bolts included).

Cast from high-tensile iron, the vise measures 4 1/8″ × 1 1/2″ × 1 3/4″ tall and weighs just over 1 1/2 lb.
